To use the EWI4000s as a MIDI controller, you will need the following
MIDI cable
MIDI sound module or MIDI sequencer
Connection
Connect the MIDI cable between the MIDI OUT of the EWI4000s and the MIDI IN
of the external MIDI sound module.
Setting of the external MIDI sound module
1.
Set the external sound model so that it responds to the incoming MIDI signal.
2. Set the received MIDI channel to “1”.
3. Select the sound library you wish to play.

Refer to the operator’s manual of your external MIDI sound module/synth for details.
