Playing EWI4000s with Internal Sound
Tuning
This sets the tuning of the EWI4000s. It is used when you play with other musicians/
instruments.
1. Press the [SETUP] button.
While pressing the [SETUP] button, “Ad” is shown on the
program/Data display.
2. While pressing the [SETUP]
button, select “tu” (Tuning) by
pressing the [HOLD] button.
It allows you to select the setup parameter by
pressing the [HOLD] or the [OCT] button while
pressing the [SETUP] button.
3. After selecting “tu”, release the [SETUP] button.
The “40” is shown on the Program/Data display. This means that
the basic A note is set to 440Hz.

Adjust the proper value by pressing the [HOLD] button or the [OCT] button
The [HOLD] button works as ( + ), and the [OCT] button works as ( - ).
The setting range is between 416Hz and 465Hz.
5. Press the [SETUP] button.
The EWI4000s returns to the “PLAY” mode.
Note: If you press any button except the [SETUP], [HOLD], and [OCT] button, your tune
setting is ignored and The EWI4000s returns to the original tuning value.
