Transpose function
The Transpose function allows you to play the EWI4000s in a transposed key. If you use
the Transpose function, the standard “C” position is transposed to the note you have
defined.
When you press the [TRANS] button, the Trans-
pose function switches “ON”. When you press the
[TRANS] button again, it switches “Off”.
Setting the Transpose function
While pressing the [TRANS] button, the current Transpose note is shown on the Pro-
gram/Data display. At this time, you can set the Transpose note by pressing the [HOLD]
button or the [OCT] button.
NOTE: The possible range for transposition is “E – C – Eb”. (“C”: standard pitch)
