Using the EWI4000s as a MIDI controller (Application)
Changing the MIDI Channel
This sets the MIDI OUT channel of the EWI4000s.
1. Press the [SETUP] button.
While pressing the [SETUP] button, “Ad” is shown on
the program/Data display.
2. While continuing to press the [SETUP] but-
ton, select “CH” (Channel) by
pressing the [HOLD] button.
It allows you to select the setup pa-
rameter by pressing the [HOLD] button or the
[OCT] button while pressing the [SETUP] button.
3. After selecting “CH”, release the [SETUP]
button.
The current MIDI Channel No. is shown on the Program/Data display.
4. Select the MIDI Channel No. you wish by pressing the [HOLD] button or
the [OCT] button.
The [HOLD] button works as ( + ), and the [OCT] button works as ( - ).
5. Press the [SETUP] button.
The EWI4000s returns to the “PLAY” mode.
Note: If you press any button except the [SETUP], [HOLD], and [OCT] button, your
setting MIDI Channel is ignored and it returns to the original number.
