OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
NOTE
When Machine Has Been Stored In Below Freezing Temperatures, Run Engine At The “1” (low) Speed Setting With
Machine Standing Still For 5 To 10 Minutes To Warm Engine And Hydraulic Oil.
TO START GAS ENGINE
1. Set the engine speed switch to the “1” (low) Speed setting.
2. Turn key to “START” position until engine starts, then release. (The key switch will return to the “ON”
position.)
TO START PROPANE ENGINE
Perform these checks in addition to the Pre-Start check list.
1. Check connections for leaks
2. Open the LP storage tank valve.
3. Set the engine speed switch to the “IDLE” (low) Speed setting.
4. Turn key to “START” position until engine starts, then release. (The key switch will return to the “ON”
position.)
TO START DIESEL ENGINE
When starting the diesel engine, it should be noted that under no circumstances should Ether or any other
starting fluids be used in conjunction with the glow plugs. Do not use the glow plugs for more than 60 seconds
at a time or damage to the plugs may result. The key switch must be placed in the “ON” position before using
the glow plug switch.
