- Do NOT place the stabilizer feet near drains, manholes, wells, electric conduits and in general on
any surface unable to support the maximum stabilizer force.
- When working on bridges the stabilizer feet must be placed at least one metre from the edge.
Make sure that the stabilizers are at a safe distance from ditches and steep slopes. As a general
rule the distance A between a stabilizer leg and the edge must be at least 2 times the depth B of
the ditch.
- Check that the crane is not inclined at an angle greater than the maximum permitted value G
(see B.6.3).
