7.6.4 Trigger Mode
Triggeroperationdeterminesthewayinwhichthethermometeroperates,and
whathappenstothereadingstakenbytheinstrument.Thearevetrigger
operations:Classic(i),Burst(ii),Latched(iii),Route(iv)andOperator
Emissivity(v).SeeSection8-TriggerOperation.Thedefaulttriggeroperation
isClassic.

Allowsyoutospecifyalarmvaluesforthetargetbeingmeasured.Thefunction
hasthreesub-options:High Alarm(i),Low Alarm(ii)andAlarm O(iii).
Whenhighorlowalarmsareselected,avaluesettingscreenappears.Usethe
and keystoenterthealarmtriggertemperature.Thedefaultsettingfor
HighandLowalarmisthethermometermid-rangevalue.
Whenanalarmthresholdvaluepassed,avisualindicationisprovidedonthe
sidedisplay(
=abovehighalarmvalue: =belowlowalarmvalue).An
audiblewarning(fastbeep)isalsoprovidedifthesoundersettingin‘On’.
