12.1 Transport
12.1.1 Joint protection

tion
1 Release the lower part of the joint protection (1).
1.1 First, remove the compression spring (2) and then the lock bolt (3).
2 Carefully turn the roller steering wheel until the joint protection comes in line
with the opposite loop.
NOTE You must start the roller to be able to move the steering wheel.
3 Hook the joint protection into place.
4 Secure the joint protection with the lock bolt (3).
5 Secure the lock bolt with the compression spring (2).

DANGER
Risk of crushing through presence in the pivoting area (dan-
ger zone)!
• The articulated joint lock (joint protection) must be fitted before
lifting the roller for transport.

• As soon as the roller is aligned, shut if off again.
