FUV Owner's Guide - 112
Driving in Low Temperatures
Tire performance is reduced in low ambient temperatures,
resulting in reduced grip and an increased susceptibility
to damage from impacts. The tires on the FUV can
temporarily harden when cold, causing you to hear
rotational noise for the first few miles until the tires warm
up.
Tire Information Labels
The following information is permanently branded on the
sidewalls of all tires sold in the United States.
l Information about the tire's basic characteristics
l Capacities and construction
l U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) Tire
Identification Number (TIN)
NOTE
Tire inflation pressure information is specified on the
Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) Label affixed to the
left front down tube of the frame.
