Long Term Storage
The following instructions describe how to prepare the
FUV for long-term storage (more than three weeks).
Follow these steps to disable the 12V electrical system.
This prevents the batteries in the FUV from depleting over
time.
Safety
These instructions do not require accessing any high-
voltage components. However, always be aware, and
follow these basic safety rules:
l Remove all metal jewelery before following these
instructions.
l Keep metal objects of any kind (tools, jewelry)
away from any internal components.
Tools Required
l Phillips head screwdriver
STEP 1: Remove Both Dash Access Panels
There are two Dash Access Panels located on either side
of the Dash Assembly:
Remove the two Phillips head screws that secure each
panel.
