Getting Started
Start and Go
1.
Sit down in the FUV, and fasten both
front Seat Belts.
Note: As a safety feature, both front
seat belts must be latched before the
FUV will move. It is not required that the
rear seat belts are latched; if you have a
passenger, always ensure that both rear
seat buckles are secured. Refer to Seat
Belts on page57 for more information.
2. Set the Direction switch on the right grip
to Neutral (•).
3.
Insert the key and turn it to the ON pos-
ition. The FUV chimes, and the Display
shows the Arcimoto logo.
4.
Press and hold the START button
on the left grip.
5.
Firmly press the BRAKEPEDAL all
the way to the floor to start the
FUV.
6. When the FUV starts, the Display
updates to show the Drive screen.
Once the FUV is started, release
the START button and the Brake
Pedal.
7. Press the Parking Brake button on
the Control Panel to release the
Parking Brake. The Parking Brake
is fully released when all three
LEDs on the button are OFF. For
safety, press and hold the Brake
Pedal when the Parking Brake is
OFF.
