Short Term Storage
l For short- term storage (less than three weeks),
drain the FUV’s charge to about 60%, and leave the
FUV unplugged. The HV Batteries drain extremely
slowly over time.
l Check the charge level at least weekly, and charge
it back up to 60% if it has dropped below 30%.
Never store your FUV at a charge level of less than
30%
Leaving the HV Batteries discharged below 30% for a
prolonged period of time could damage the HV Batteries
and void the warranty.
If the FUV charge level falls to 0%, you must plug it in
immediately.
If you leave it unplugged for an extended period, it may
not be possible to charge or use the FUV without jump
starting or replacing the 12V battery.
Leaving the FUV unplugged for an extended period can
also result in permanent battery damage.
If you are unable to charge your FUV, contact Arcimoto
Technical Support at (541) 780-0032 immediately.
NOTE
Plug the FUV in for at least 24 hours before use to
restore optimal cell balance.
