secure the FUV for transport.
l
ALWAYS follow local laws and regulations
regarding tie-down and transport requirements for
3-wheel vehicles.
l
DONOT use sling type equipment when towing.
Damage may occur.
Emergency Towing
If the FUV becomes inoperable , it can be towed on a flat-
bed trailer under the following conditions:
l The FUV is facing forward for towing in a forward
direction.
l Place the Direction Switch in Neutral (•). See page
32.
l Maximum speed is 35 mph (56 km/h).
l Maximum distance is 50 mi (80 km).

behind another vehicle such as a motor home.

tow your FUV with all three wheels off the ground, such as
when using a flat-bed trailer.
Consider the following important points before
transporting the FUV:
l Before towing the FUV, become familiar with the
local laws that apply to recreational vehicle towing.
These laws vary by region.

the tow vehicle manufacturer's recommendations.
