that is not directly related to the safe operation of
the FUV.
l NEVER drive the FUV while using a mobile phone or
other personal electronic device. Note that the term
"personal electronic device" includes, but is not
limited to, cell phones, tablets, laptops, two- way
messaging devices, and electronic games.
Driving the FUV while distracted can result in loss of
vehicle control, accident and injury.
Use the provided phone holder, and set your phone
to hands-free mode. Otherwise, pull the FUV over to
the side of, or off of, any active roadway and stop in
a location where you can safely remain stationary
before using a mobile phone or other personal elec-
tronic device.
l NEVER drive the FUV off-road.
l NEVER drive the FUV with more than one
passenger. Only allow one passenger to ride in the
passenger seat with seat belts fastened.
l NEVER carry persons or animals on any outside
part of the FUV.
l NEVER drive the FUV with weight (riders and
cargo) that exceeds the GVWR of 1800 lbs (816.5
kg).
Note that the maximum amount of weight that can
be added to the FUV (including passengers and
cargo) without exceeding the GVWR is 500 lbs
(226.8 kg). See page 1 for details.
l NEVER use the seatbelts to secure anything other
than a human passenger.
l NEVER allow the FUV to stand unattended without
first placing the FUV in Neutral, setting the Parking
Brake, turning the ignition to OFF and removing the
Key.
If the FUVis standing upon any perceptible grade,
turn the front wheels to the curb or side of the road-
way.
