Commands
Using
Forms
Many
commands
require
you
to
give
more
information
before
the
command
is
executed.
When
you
enter
these
commands,
they
display
forms
for
you
to
complete.
A
form
is
a
window
consisting
of
areas
called
fields.
A
field
is
an
area
of
the
form
window
in
which
you
type
information
concerning
one
aspect
of
the
command
or
task
you
are
performing.
For
example,
one
field
in
a
print
form
requests
the
name
of
the
printer,
another
field
asks
for
the
number
of
copies
to
print,
and
so
on.
In
some
instances,
forms
appear
with
information
already
completed.
These
filled-in
fields
contain
entries
supplied
by
the
system
by
default
or
by
a
user
the
last
time
the
form
was
used.
If
you
want
to
use
the
form
with
the
supplied
information,
you
need
only
press
the
Enter
key
or
point
to
the
[OK]
icon
with
the
mouse
and
press
the
Bl
mouse
button.
You
can
also
change
these
entries.
Types
of
Fields
The
two
types
of
form
fields
are:
o
Fields
that
allow
you
to
select
from
a
list
of
choices.
If
you
try
to
type
in
such
a
field,
a
menu
of
choices
appears.
o
Fields
that
reqUire
you
to
type
an
entry.
Filling
In
Forms
You
can
change
a
multiple-choice
field
in
two
ways:
o
You
can
select
from
a
menu
of
choices.
o
You
can
display
each
of
the
optional
entries
in
succession.
To
change
a
field
entry:
