pathname
is
a
shorthand
way
of
allowing
you
to
specify
this
relationship,
using
slashes
(/).
For
example,
the
pathname
to
the
practice
folder
is:
Filecabinet/practice
If
you
look
at
the
window
that
contains
the
practice
folder,
notice
that
the
window
title
is
Filecabinet/
practice.
This
title
indicates
that
practice
is
a
folder
contained
in
the
Filecabinet.
Opening
a
Folder
by
Typing
the
Pathname
To
open
or
resume
a
folder
by
typing
its
pathname,
you
must
type
the
complete
pathname
exactly
as
the
object
names
appear
in
the
Office
window
or
folder
displays.
For
instance,
to
open
the
practice
folder,
you
type
Filecabinet
with
an
uppercase
F,
a
slash,
and
practice
with
a
lowercase
p.
Example
To
open
the
practice
folder:

Resume
the
Office.

Type
Filecabinet/practice
3
Press
<Return>
or
<Enter>.
This
typed
command
opens
the
practice
folder,
no
matter
what
folder
window
is
active
when
you
type
the
command.
You
could
also
enter
this
command
as
follows:

<Cmd>.

open
Filecabinet/practice
3

<Return>
or
<Enter>.
