3. Connect external devices wires to meter.
Schielding and GND connection scheme:
Sensor protection
- 2 wires
Sensor signal
- 4 wires
Attention:
Sensor’s and housing galvanic connection is necessary.
If substantial disturbances occur or electrostatic problems then it is crucial to connect additional GND wire
between platform and meter housing.
To make GND connection use sensor’s factory GND connection or one of the wires that extend factory
connection or additional wire. Stainless steel housing meters have special external GND clip. The connection
should be made with thick wire. As a reference look at AXIS constructions.
