6. Preparation to work
1. To built a scale based on ME-02 meter contact authorized service or use Mounting guide.
2. Producer gives warranty only if AXIS Sp. z o.o. mounts the complete scale. In other cases warranty is
provided by the mounter.
Compliance to CE sign requires when connecting wires using filter core 20mm supplied with the meter. Distance
between filter core and connection place must be under 30mm..
Scheme to connect 4-wire single extensometer sensor inside ME-02 (load cell wires connected: EXC+, EXC-,
IN+, IN-) below:
load cell
protection - 2 wires
supply wire
shield
signal conduct - 4 wires
protection- 2 wires
min.lenght
When using 6-wire connection (REF+ i REF-) unsolder
from main board two jumpers Z1 (look drawing on left)
Load cel connections are EXC+, EXC-, IN+, IN- and
additionally REF+ and REF-.
Most common colors used for load cel wires :
EXC+ red
EXC- black
IN+ green
IN- white
REF+ brown
REF- yellow
Before connecting sensors to the indicator unplug the device from the
mains to avoid damaging the indicator!
