7. Troubleshooting list
7.1 Malfunctions with error numbers
As soon as an error status is detected, an error window will pop up on the
display and an acoustic warning will be issued.
In the event a malfunction cannot be remedied as described below:
¾ Have component(s) repaired by the manufacturer.

Error 1 Error 1 Key actuation (softkey actuation):
More than one key was pressed at the same

Error 2 Error 2 Key (softkey) held down for too long:
Control key pressed for longer than 20 s
Do not press any key for longer than 20 s
Error 3 Error 3 – Foot-Control Pedal(s) of the foot control pressed during
automatic self-test
Release pedal(s)
Both pedals of foot control GD671 pressed Press one pedal only
Pressing both pedals is only allowed in
operating mode "Shave" in conjunction
with the shaver handpiece
