Installation of ORION Endpoint Utility
1. Establish an internet connection and open the Google Chrome browser and navigate to
URL HTTPS://OrionMobileRead.BeaconAMA.net
2. Log in with your BEACON Mobile User credentials.
3. Navigate to Configurations >Download to install the ORION Endpoint Utility Software.
4. Tap the Download button to download the ORION Endpoint Utility software.
Endpoint Utility requires .NET 3.0 to be installed before it will install. If the tablet was
supplied by Badger Meter, follow these steps prior to installing Endpoint Utility.
1. Go into Control Panel and select Program and Features and in the top Left corner
select Turn Windows features on or off.
2. The Windows Features will display; click in the box in front of .NET Framework 3.5
(includes .NET2.0 and 3.0).
3. Endpoint Utility can now be installed. If Windows stops the install, click on “More”
and then click “Install Anyway”.
NOTE: With other devices .NET may already be installed or it may need to be
downloaded from the Microsoft website.
