Guaran tee and Compensation
Barco provides a guarantee relating to perfect man ufacturing as part of the legally stipulated terms of guarantee. On re ceipt, the pu rchaser
must immediately inspect a ll delivered goods for dam age incurred during transport, a s well as for material and manufacturing faults Barco
must be informed im mediately in wr iting of any complaints.
The period of gu arantee begins on the date of transfer of risks, in the c ase of special systems and software on the date of comm issioning,
at latest 30 days after the transfer of risks. In the event of justied notice of com plaint, Barco can repair the fault or provide a replacement
at its own discretion w ithin an appr opriate period. If this measure proves to be impossible or unsuccessful, the purchaser ca n demand a
reduction in the purchase pr ice or c ancellation of the c ontract. All o ther claims, in particular those relating to com pensa tion for direct or
indirect damage, and also damage attributed to the ope ration of s oftware as well as to other services provided by Barco, b eing a component
of the system or independent service, will b e deemed invalid provided the dam age is n ot proven to be attributed to the absence of properties
guaranteed in writing or due to the intent or gross negligence or p art of Barco.
If the purchase r or a third party carries out modications or repairs on goods delivered by Barco, or if the goods are handled incorrectly,
in particular if the systems are com miss ioned operated incorrectly or if, after the transfer of risks, the goods are subject to inuences not
agreed upon in the contract, all guarantee claims of the pu
rchaser will be rendered invalid. Not included in the guarantee coverage are
system failures which are attributed to programs or special electronic c ircuitry provided by the purchaser, e.g. interfaces. Normal wear as
well as norm al maintenance are not subject to the guarantee provided by Bar co either.
The environmental conditions as well as the servicing and m aintenance reg ulations specied in the this m anual m ust be com plied with by
the customer.
EN55022/CISPR22 Class A ITE (Information Technology Equipment)
Class A ITE is a category of all other ITE which satises the class A ITE limits but not the class B ITE limits. Such equipment should not
be restricted in its sale but the following warning s hall be included in the instructions for use:
Warning : This is a class A product. In a domestic environment this product m ay cause radio interference in whic h case the us er m ay be
required to take adequate measures.

You are cautioned that changes or modications not expressly approved by the part responsible for compliance could void the user ’s
authority to operate the equipment.
This equipm ent has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class A digital device, pursuant to P art 15 of the FCC Rules.
These limits a re designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference when the equipment is operated in a comm ercial
environment. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with
the instruction manual, may cause harmful interference to radio c omm unications. Operation of this equipment in a residential area is likely
to cause harmful interference in w hich case the u ser will be required to correct the interference at his own expense.
If this equipm ent does c ause interference with radio communications se rvices, which can be determined by turning t he equipm ent off and
on, you are encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:
Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to w hich the receiver is conn ected.
Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules . Operation is subject to the following two conditions:
1. this device may not cause harmful interference, and
2. this device m ust accept any interference received, including interference that m ay cause undesired oper ation of t he device.
