6.14 Base Unit software update
About Software update
The software of the Base U nit can be updated v ia t he web interface. The latest version of the s oftware is available on Barco ’s
website.
How to update
1. Download the latest version of the software from Barco’s website.
2. Log in t o the ClickShare web interface.
3. Click the Maintenance tab (1) and then click Software (2).

The content of the Software tab is displayed.
The current version of the Base Unit software is shown in the Base Unit Software pane.
4. To upload a new version of the Base Unit software , click Upload New Software... . (3).
A bro wser w indow opens.
5. Browse to the file with the new software and click
Open to start the up load.
Note: This sho uld be an nad file. You might hav e to un zip the file downloaded from Barco’s website.
Note: Updating the software to the B ase Unit tekes several minutes. P rogress can b e followed on the meeting room d isplay.
The B ase Unit software is updated.
It is advised to pair a ll Buttons in the meeting room to the Base U nit after a software update has been done.
The Base Unit checks if the Button software needs to be updated and if needed, the update is executed.
6.15 Downloads from Base Unit
About downloads
The launcher service an d the ClickShare client software for PC or M AC are stored on the Base Unit and can be downloaded for
installation on the user ’s PC.
