Danger to life or risk of injury due to electric shock
Work on electrical devices may only be performed by qualified
technical staff.
Damage to device due to improper handling
The user is liable for damages caused due to repairs.
Never take apart the device. This can lead to device damages. Inside the device
there are no components that could be serviced or repaired by the user.
Repairs must be carried out only by personnel trained and authorised by BAUR
17.1 Troubleshooting
When a fault occurs, proceed as follows:
1. Check the supply voltage, the connection cable and earth cable.
2. Pay attention to the message on the display.

3. Restart the oil breakdown voltage tester.
4. If the error occurs again after the device has been restarted, contact your nearest BAUR
representative (http://www.baur.eu/baur-worldwide).
It may be possible for the BAUR GmbH After Sales Service Team to determine the
cause of the fault remotely. To do so, please specify the following data:
Oil breakdown voltage tester serial number
Firmware version
Message on display
Procedure that caused the error.
