Presser foot lifter

with your knee push lever to the right
You should be able to operate the Presser foot lifter with your knee in your
normal sitting position.

the presser foot is raised; the feed dog is lowered simultaneously. The
thread tension is released.
The feed dog is raised as soon as the first stitch is sewn.
The vertical spool pin is on the side behind the handwheel.
It is an essential aid for sewing with more than one thread, e.g. double needle
work and can also be used for winding the bobbin while sewing.

Your dealer can adjust the Presser foot lifter if necessary.

use foam pad 2 for stability with all thread spools
