  Uneven stitch formation can occur for several reasons: * The upper thread may be too tight or too loose; in this case, adjust the upper thread tension. * The needle might be blunt or bent; replace it with a new BERNINA quality needle. * You may be using a poor-quality needle or thread; use a new, quality BERNINA needle and quality thread, respectively. * The needle and thread combination may be incorrect; match the needle with the thread size. * The machine may be incorrectly threaded; rethread it. * An incorrect bobbin case may be in use; use the supplied bobbin case marked with the triangle.
