Raising/Lowering the needle
> Sink the heel back on the foot control to raise/lower the needle.
2.4 Spool pin
Retractable spool pin
Raise the retractable spool pin
With metallic or other special threads, it is recommend to use the retractable spool pin.
The retractable spool pin is used when special threads are embroidered and it can also be used for bobbin
winding while embroidering.
> To raise the spool pin, push the spool pin down and release it.
– The retractable spool pin appears automatically.
> To lock the spool pin, turn the spool pin anti-clockwise as far as it will go.
> To release the lock, turn the spool pin clockwise as far as it will go.
> To lower the spool pin, push the spool pin down until it clicks into place.
Inserting foam pad and thread spool
The foam pad prevents the thread from getting hooked at the retractable spool pin.
> Place the foam pad on the retractable spool pin.
