Icon Name Purpose
Icons «-/+» You can use the icons «-» and «+» to change
setting values.
Yellow frame around the
icon
A yellow-framed icon indicates that a setting
or value has been changed in this function.
This can be reset to the default setting by
touching the yellow-framed icon.
Confirm Confirms the changes that were previously
made. The window is closed.
Cancel The process is canceled. The window is closed
and the changes are not implemented.
Slider The slider is used to change setting values.
Switch The switch is used to switch functions on or
off.
Process navigation You can use the process navigation to return
to the previous display.
Please note: Some displays contain more functions than those displayed. You can display hidden functions
by swiping your finger or the touchscreen pen upwards or downwards.
1.6 Needle, Thread, Fabric
In the course of time a needle wears out. Therefore it should be replaced regularly. Only a perfect point
results in a good stitching result. In general it can be said: the thinner the thread, the finer the needle. The
illustrated needles are either standard or optional accessory, depending on the machine.
Needle sizes 70, 75: for thin fabrics.
Needle sizes 80, 90: for medium fabrics.
Needle sizes 100, 110 and 120: for heavy fabrics.
