Enter status bit
Press on the display to view the list of status bits that can be included in
the string, with any characters used to represent the bits during transmission.
Press again to include the selected bit in the string.
Press to select the bit previous to the selected one.
Press to select the bit after the selected one.
is used to enter/edit the characters that represent the bit during
transmission.
Bit OK is the character used in the string when the condition represented by the
bit is checked.
Bit ERR is the character used in the string when the condition represented by the
bit is not checked.
ESC is used to go back to the customisation functions.
Enter ASCII character
Press to enter an ASCII code to associate to the data expressed with the
decimal code.
Confirm with . Press ESC to go back to customisation functions without
entering any code.
The DEL key is used to delete the entered code.
Enter text
By pressing it is possible to enter a text to associate to the data with a
maximum length of 20 characters. To enter the text, refer to the Using the terminal
chapter in the user manual.

Enter Checksum
By pressing it is possible to enter a checksum calculated based on the
data entered prior to the checksum itself. The Check applied message will
appear on the display.
