9. Fault summary and checklist
Warning
Before starting to rectify faults, it is vital that the
pump is taken out of operation, and it must be re-
moved from the mains at all poles and safe guarded
from being switched on again. This should only be
carried out by specialist staff.
Accessible voltage!
Risk of scalding from escaping medium.
Risk of burning from hot surfaces.
The list below should be followed step by step from top to bottom.

Disassemble motor for de-blocking:
– Close slide valve before and after pump
– Dismantle motor; release
4 socket-head screws.
Warning:
hot water can run out.
– Remove motor
– Turn impeller until shaft turns easily.
– Fit motor and open slide valve.
Noises from pump Air in pump Vent system several times with pump swit-
ched off. Pump vented automatically
Cavitation
Increase system pressure/reduce temperature
Pump too powerful
Set lower characteristic
