Bladder volume accuracy ± (15% + 15 mL)
Bladder volume range 0–999 mL (0–200 mL in small child scan mode)
The following example shows how the accuracy ranges shown in Table 24 could affect reported volume
measurements.
If the measurement scanned is 160 mL, with the accuracy range of ± (15% + 15 mL), the volume is calculated
as follows:
160 mL
×
15% = 24 mL
22.5 mL + 15 mL = 39 mL
150 mL ± 39 mL = 111–189 mL
The accuracy specifications assume the instrument is being used according to the instructions provided by
Verathon
®
while scanning a tissue‑equivalent phantom.
