Code: prevents unauthorised persons from starting the engine
You can choose and enter a code with-
out which the engine cannot be started.
When the code has been activated, the
driver is required to enter it with the ig-
nition key in position 1.
Each time the code is activated, it is
valid only until the next time the engine
is started.
If the code is not available or has been
forgotten, emergency de-activation is
possible; see page 88.
1. Call up "MENU"
2. Select "Code".
To exit this function, press the following
button again:
The code functions described below
are called up from this menu.
Defining and activating code
1. Select "Code"
2. Select the first input box
3. Enter the desired number:
> Turn the right-hand rotary control
until the desired digit between 0
and 9 is shown
> Press the right-hand rotary control
to confirm the input
> Enter the next three digits in the
same way.
An instruction indicating the next
step is flashed up
4. Activate the code.
Turn the ignition key to 0.
To correct an input:
1. Select "Change"
2. Make the input again.
To cancel input of the code, press
