Speech output
Varying volume
You can raise or lower the volume of
other audio sources in relation to the
navigation system, see page 19.
If you have in addition turned down the
volume of all audio sources to zero at
the left-hand rotary control, the naviga-
tion instructions are issued at a mini-
mum volume.
For details of how to adjust this mini-
mum volume, see page 57.
Repeating or interrupting speech
output
To have the last direction announce-
ment repeated:
1. Press right-hand rotary control.
A selection menu in which "Instruc-
tion" is already highlighted is called
up.
2. Press right-hand rotary control
briefly.
The last direction announcement is
repeated.
To interrupt the direction announce-
ment, as a separate procedure hold the
right-hand rotary control pressed.
When "Instruction" is selected a further
time, the speech output is switched on
again.
