Traffic information
Activating traffic information
You can receive TMC traffic information
via your radio see page 58, and have it
displayed on the monitor screen during
destination guidance.
To activate the TMC traffic information
function, during destination input
1. Select "Traffic information"
2. Select "RDS-TMC".
"TMC" appears in light grey in the
bottom line of the screen. The dis-
play changes to green as soon as a
TMC channel is received.
Traffic information is also added to the
"Message list" as it is received.
Calling up traffic information
As the radio can also pick up TMC sta-
tions while you are listening to other
stations (see diversity function, page 52
or individual selection of a TMC station,
page 58), you can obtain information
about traffic problems before starting
destination guidance.
1. Select "Traffic information"
2. Select "Message List"
3. If there is entry in the list that affects
your planned route, select it.
Detailed information on the traffic
problem is listed
4. To close this information, select .
Advanced traffic information
If you have been registered for the
BMW ASSIST
* emergency call and in-
formation service, you can receive ad-
vanced "T-info plus" information.

you.
