This firmware supports DTLS. For details on how to set the required device communication
password, refer to the configuration manual of the host system.
– If a brand-new AMC is connected to a host system supporting DTLS, the AMC will be
configured with DHCP active and its IP address will be set to a device-specific link-local IP
address in the range 169.254.0.0/16.
– If the network is operating with a DHCP server, the AMC will get its network configuration
automatically from the DHCP server.
– If the network is operating without a DHCP server, the link-local address will remain
active until otherwise configured via the AMCIPConfig tool.
