Status Indicator
B426 provides several LED indicators. The following table describes the system status
indicator (blue).

B450 with B442 or B443
General
Use B450 in combination with a plug-in communicator for primary or backup alarm
communication, remote panel programming and other remote applications. The B450 supports
Conettix IP protocol with full authentication, 256 bit AES encryption and resistance to Denial
of Service attacks. B450 also supports compatible Bosch panels using SIA DC-09, CSV-IP. It is
a reliable way to add cellular network communications to existing or new commercial security
and fire installations.
For the AMAX panel, B450 can be used in combination with either B442 or B443 with the
following communication possibilities:
– B442: GSM (GPRS)
– B443: GSM (GPRS, EDGE), UMTS
The communication of B443 is faster than B442.
Installation
1. Disconnect all power supplies of the AMAX panel before installing B450.
