1.1 VALIDITY OF THE DOCUMENTATION
This documentation is valid for the following product:
• HYDROTRAC GFT >130 kNm
These general operating instructions of the HYDROTRAC GFT hydrostatic drive
describe the following congurations:
• Planetary gearbox with connection options for:
– Axial-piston motor
• Planetary gearbox (depending on the scope of supply) with :
– mounted axial-piston motor
– integrated static multiple-disk brake
– Disconnect mechanisms
f For the valid conguration of your hydrostatic drive HYDROTRAC GFT, see the
chapters “Product description”, “Scope of supply” and appendix D “Technical
data / Drawings” of the material number-specic operating instructions.
f Also observe the respective chapters of these general operating instructions.
For simplication purposes, the product is referred to as “HYDROTRAC GFT
planetary gearbox” or as “planetary gearbox” in the following chapters.
This documentation addresses installers/service technicians/machine or vehicle
operators.
This documentation contains important information on the safe and appropriate
transport, storage, assembly, commissioning, use, maintenance, disassembly and
simple troubleshooting of the planetary gearbox.
f Please read this documentation completely and in particular the chapter
2 “Safety Instructions” and chapter 3 “General information concerning damage
to property and product damages”, prior to working with the planetary gearbox.

has been made available to you and make sure you have
read, understood and followed it.
