13 Disposal
13.1 ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
NOTE
Ground water and/or soil contamination caused by careless disposal!
Damage to property and the environment caused by careless disposal of the
planetary gearbox, the packaging material, the lubricating oil, the hydraulic uid!
f Eliminate leaks immediately.
f Dispose of the gearbox, the packaging material, the lubricating oil and the
hydraulic uid or the pressure uid according to the national regulations of your
country.
f Dispose of the lubricating oil residues and/or hydraulic uid/pressure uid
residues according to the respective valid safety data sheets.
f Dispose of mounting parts and cabling according to the respective
manufacturer's regulations.
Careless disposal of the planetary gearbox, the hydraulic uid, the lubricating oil
and the packaging material may lead to environmental pollution.
f Dispose of the planetary gearbox, the hydraulic uid, the lubricating oil and the
packaging material according to the national regulations of your country.
f Dispose of hydraulic uid or lubricating oil remains according to the applicable
product data sheets and the safety data sheets for hydraulic uids or
lubricating oils.
f Observe the following supplied instructions for disposing of the planetary
gearbox in an environmentally friendly manner:
– RE 77943: Information on the environmentally sound disposal of “Gearboxes
for mobile and stationary applications” in the appendix of the material
number-specic operating instructions.
14 Extension and conversion
You may not modify the HYDROTRAC GFT planetary gearbox.
Warranty by Rexroth shall only apply to the delivered conguration and
extensions which were provided for in the conguration. After a conversion or
extension by the customer, the warranty will expire.
The axial-piston motor adjusting screws are secured by safety caps to prevent
unauthorized adjustment. Removal of the protective caps voids the warranty
claims. If the setting has to be changed, contact the responsible Rexroth
Service. For the address, please refer to chapter 10.6 “Spare parts”.
