B Series Degreaser Installation

Note: Spraying will significantly increase solvent emissions.
Note: The spray reservoir capacity is limited. Do not spray longer than 30 seconds. The total
spray duration is limited by the distillation rate of the degreaser. Do not spray more than
2 ½ minutes per hour.
3.16.8 Changing Vapor Level Dwell
Set the Vapor Level Dwell (FINAL VAPOR) to the amount of time required for the parts to
stop dripping in the vapor zone. Setting this time too short will result in higher emissions.
3.16.9 Changing Freeboard Level Dwell
Set the Freeboard Level Dwell (FREEBOARD DWELL) to at least half of the Vapor Level
Dwell time. Freeboard dwell allows the solvent that evaporates from the parts when they are
exposed to air to recombine with the vapor layer. Setting this time too short will result in
higher emissions.
3.16.10 Changing Movement Alarm Timeout
Set the timeout alarm (TIMEOUT) to 10 seconds longer than the longest movement time. It
should require 20 seconds for the lift to descend at the start of the cycle if the lift speed is
properly adjusted. Check the speed both with and without a load. Setting this time too short
may cause spurious timeout alarms. Setting it too long will keep the fault messages from
indicating a fault condition.
3.16.11 Operating Ultrasonics Continuously
The ultrasonic mode is set on the MANUAL screen. To enter the MANUAL screen from the
Startup screen, press the MANUAL button on the left side of the STARTUP interface screen.

Note: The US MAN button indicates the current state. US MAN ON would indicate that the
ultrasonics are currently ON and US MAN OFF would indicate the ultrasonics are currently
off.
Note: The ultrasonics must be turned on at the degreaser control panel for the ultrasonics to operate.
