OIL PUMP
Disassembly
Remove seven screws and oil pump rotor plate.
Remove inner and outer rotors.
Inspection
Check oil pump case for excessive wear or dam-
age.
Check rotors and rotor plate for excessive wear or
damage. Replace as necessary.
Assembly
Apply a thin coat of engine oil to inner and outer
rotors, inside surfaces of oil pump case, and plate.
Install outer and inner rotors in pump case.
IMPORTANT: Punch marks on rotors ( , )
must face rotor plate.
Install rotor plate and tighten screws 88 in. lbs. (10
N·m).
