1.3 How to Use this Manual
This manual describes the hardware and system software of the Measuring Ampli-
fier Type 2525.
Chapter 2 includes a description of the front and rear panel controls and connec-
tions.
Chapter 3 provides an overview of the preliminary steps required to set-up the
amplifier and prepare it for measurement.
Chapters 4 and 5 describe the menus and the measurement and system parameter
options which can be specified through them. The descriptions of the functionality
of these menus and parameters hold for interface users as well. Interface users
should use Volume 2 for information about the interface command protocol and
syntax, with Volume 1 as their operation reference.
Chapter 6 provides an application example using the amplifier. This step-wise in-
struction ought to help you set-up and use the amplifier for you own application.
Chapter 7 includes a word about service and repair of the amplifier.
