Operating Notes about LEARN Function
SMART MATRIX FEEDER 3.18
LEARN function with JACQUARD KNIT application.
If, in SETUP-APPLICATION you selected the JACQUARD KNIT application (which assumes the production
of an article with fixed pattern repetition rate), then the LEARN function operates like the SEAMLESS,
SOCKS, PANTYHOSE applications, but with the following differences:
1. no start/stop cycle (ZPX) signal is generated.
2. the LFATOL window shows an additional parameter (STYLE REPEAT).
This parameter represents the number of PRX pulses after which the pattern is repeated.
3. Assuming that you have setup STYLE REPEAT = 30, the LEARN sequence will be the following:
LFA enabled
PRX Count
System waiting for P_LRN
button pressed by the
operator.
P_LRN button pressed!
System waiting for PRX
signals.

PRX pulse; after each pulse the CNT field
increases by 1.
After the 30

PRX pulse, the system will switch to
CONTROL status.
Learn completed!
System in CONTROL status!
The CNT will show the count of PRX pulses during
the control process. After 30 PRX pulses the count
will restart from 1.
Previous control correctly ended!
The PRX pulse count will restart from 1.
