Note Operative sull’Applicazione FLAT KNIT
SMART MATRIX FEEDER 3.19
Operating Notes about the FLAT KNIT Application
The FLAT KNIT application, used on flat bed knitting machines, does not provide Learn and Calibration
functions.
The parameters to be defined during the STYLE EDIT operation are quite different from those of the
SEAMLESS, SOCKS, PANTYHOSE, JERSEY KNIT, JACQUARD KNIT applications. In particular some
parameters of the STD window are different and the LFATOL window is replaced by the NOISE window:
Specific parameters for FLAT KNIT application – STD window
WORK TENS.A: Yarn tension when the carriage moves away from the
position where the ULTRAFEEDER/ROLLING
FEEDER/UNIFEEDER device is installed.
Allowed values: [0.2 – 99.5 gr]
WORK TENS.B: Yarn tension when the carriage moves towards the
position where the ULTRAFEEDER/ROLLING
FEEDER/UNIFEEDER device is installed.
Allowed values: [0.2 – 99.5 gr]
RECOVERY %: Tension increase rate during the yarn recovery stage,
after the carriage stop.
Allowed values: [0 – 100 %]
Specific parameters for FLAT KNIT application – NOISE window
LENGHT mm: Module length for tension modulation.
E.g.: if you enter 300 mm, it means that every 300 mm
the tension will be altered by the amount specified in
TENSION %.
Allowed values: [1 – 999 mm]
PHASE: Starting phase of the modulation for the device in
question.
Allowed values: [0 – 100]
TENSION %: Increment of tension for each modulation step.
