10 Boiler flue gas test
"Flue gas test" key Q on ZM422 module.
The control unit must be switched on.
z Hold down "Flue gas test" for several seconds to start the flue gas test.
The flue gas test lasts 30 minutes and is indicated on the display. During the flue
gas test, the displays
0 for faults and 1 for summer mode will flash
alternately. The control unit automatically reverts to its previous operating mode
when the test has been completed.
z Press "Flue gas test"
Q again to terminate the flue gas test.
During the flue gas test the MEC2 will show the display on the left.
WARNING!
RISK OF SCALDING
During the flue gas test, the water can reach a temperature in excess of 60 °C.
This creates a risk of scalding at the draw-off points.
z Only draw off mixed hot and cold water during or just after a flue gas test.
Note that when mono-lever mixer taps are in their usual position, the water
drawn may be too hot.
z Never draw off hot water only when using twin-lever mixer taps.
USER INFORMATION
Observe the relevant national requirements regarding limiting the flue gas
losses of your heating system.
z Arrange an annual flue gas test.
The flue gas test is started at the boiler (Æ see technical boiler documentation).
