12 Operation in the event of a fault
12.1 Emergency mode
If the electronics fail, the control unit can operate in
emergency mode. In emergency mode, all pumps
continue to run and the mixers are volt-free. They can be
set manually. In such cases, notify your heating
contractor.
WARNING!
RISK TO LIFE
from electric shock.
z Never open the control unit.
z In an emergency, switch off the control
unit (e.g. with the heating system
emergency stop switch) or isolate the
heating system from the mains supply
by removing the main fuse.
z Arrange for your heating contractor to
rectify any heating system faults
immediately.
CAUTION!
SYSTEM DAMAGE
If an underfloor heating system is
installed: Before operating your heating
system manually, check the temperature
settings of the temperature limiter on the
boiler. If the temperature is set incorrectly,
the underfloor heating system could
overheat.

unit and on the modules.

remain volt-free and can be manually adjusted.
