Installation
Choose a tting appropriate to the velocity of the uid inside the pipe; refer to the graphs below:
Example:
- Specication: if the nominal ow rate is 10m
3
/h, the ideal ow velocity is
between 2 and 3m/s
- Solution: intersection between ow rate and ow velocity in the graph gives
the appropriate pipe diameter, DN40 (or DN50 for the asterisked ttings).
* For the ttings:
-with external thread connections acc. to SMS1145;
-with weld end connections acc. to SMS3008, BS4825-1/
ASMEBPE/DIN11866seriesC or DIN11850series2/
DIN11866seriesA/DINEN10357seriesA;
-with Clamp connections acc. to SMS3017, BS4825-3/ASMEBPE or
DIN32676seriesA.
