4.9 Interaction
A BWT mineral metering unit can be plugged into
the unit at any time.
Up to 10 BWT wireless humidity sensors (order no.
11772) can be taught.
4.10 Connectivity
BWT DES (BWT Digital Eco System)
WLAN/LAN (LAN via RJ45 socket), can be used
after registration with BWT and creation of a
customer account.
GSM connection to the BWT server for full
functionality and database updates. Not with all
models in the BWT Perla series.
APP: BWT Best Water Home (depending on the
model and market, can potentially be used after
registration with BWT and creation of a custom-
er account).
Plug connection to central instrumentation and
control (CIC): The contact opens in the event of
an error or power failure (max. contact assign-
4.11 Safety
AQA Safe valve
The AQA Safe valve closes the waste water valve
in the event of a power failure and thus protects
against water damage caused by rinsing water,
especially when the rinsing water is being drained by
a pump that stops functioning when the power fails.
In the event of a power failure, the control valves
remain in their respective operating condition. The
programmed parameters are stored permanently
AQA Watch function
period of time (> 10 minutes) indicate a problem in
the pipeline network (e.g. leakage, dripping drain
tap or leaky toilet cistern). The programmable AQA
Watch function of the intelligent control unit moni-
tors the water supply to the building and issues a
warning message.
AQA Guard (optional)
Up to 10 sensors can be wirelessly registered with
the BWT Perla one. When a sensor detects mois-
ture, the control unit gives a visual warning signal.
When using the BWT Best Water Home app on a
mobile device, the warning is also displayed there.
