Using Apollo
Airway Secretions (Nursing Only)
Apollo Nursing allows for suctioning of fluids from the airway using a manual feed. Ensure all fluids
have been removed from previous uses before each new use to prevent overfilling.
Tracheostomy Suction
To use the airway secretion feature:
1. Inject up to 40 ml of clinically appropriate colored fluid into the AIRWAY FILL port on
Apollo Nursing’s left shoulder.

The trachea is now ready to be suctioned.
