Long-Term Storage
Follow these guidelines for long-term storage (more than two months):
• Storing the battery discharged for months will likely destroy the battery. Since the
simulator consumes a small amount of power even when turned off, it is best to charge
the battery to 100% before storing the simulator for a month or two. Longer than that, it
would be wise to disconnect the battery. Follow the Battery Safety Information detailed in
this User Guide. Disconnect the batteries from the manikin to avoid overly drained
batteries.
• Store the manikin in the container the simulator arrived in and refer to the Unpack and
Repack Manual (this document also was included when the simulator was shipped). The
shipping container is approximately 2 feet (61cm) by 6 feet (183 cm).
Note: Prior to using the manikin, ensure it reaches room temperature.
