Toreplacethefuelpre-lterproceedasfollows:
1.Placeareceptacleofasuitablecapacityunder
thefuelpre-lter.
2.Closethefuelpre-ltervalve(A).
3.Loosenthedrainplug(1)andthebleedscrew
(2)thendrainthefuelandsedimentsfromthe
pre-lter.

4.Cleanaroundthefuelpre-ltercase.
5.Removethefuelpre-ltercaseusingthe
wrenchprovidedwiththemachine.

6.Installthenewlterelement.Replacethelter
caseseal,theninstallthecaseturningituntilit
isincontactwiththepre-lterhead.
NOTICE:donotllthelterbodywithfuelbeforeinstalling.
7.Tightenthecaseusingthewrench.
Filtercasetighteningtorque:
28-32N·m(20.7-23.6lbft).
8.Replacethedrainplug(1)seal,thentightenthe
drainplug(1)andtheairbleedscrew(2).
Drainplugtighteningtorque:
1.5-2.5N·m(1.1-1.8lbft)
Airbleedscrewtighteningtorque:
8.0-12.0N·m(5.9-8.9lbft)
NOTICE:overtighteningcandamagetheseal.
NOTICE:neverreusethesealoftheltercaseorthedrain
plug(1),theymustalwaysbereplacedwithnewseals.
NOTICE:tightennomorethanthespeciedtorque.
