operationalsoassiststheelectromagneticfeed
pump(4).Continuepushingthehandle(2)until
therearenomoreairbubblesinthefuel.

7.Whentheairbleedingiscomplete,turnthe
starterswitchtoOFFposition.
8.Tightentheairbleedscrew(1).Whenthehan-
dlebecomesdifculttoturn,airbleedingis
complete.
Airbleedscrewtighteningtorque:
8.0-12.0N·m(5.9-8.9lbft)
9.Returntheprimingpumphandle(2)backtoits
originalposition.
10.TurnthestarterswitchONtooperatetheelec-
tromagneticfeedpump(4)foratleast30sto
drainthecontaminant(impurities)insidefuel
lines.
11.TurnthestarterswitchOFF.
12.Returnthefuelmainltervalve(B)toitsorigi-
nalposition.
13.Wipeoffanyspilledfuel,starttheengine,and
checkforanyfuelleaks.
